Petar Kurschner jr., freelance photographer, based in Opatija, Croatia, graduated in Munich SAE Institute in Germany. He worked in more than 600 projects as tonmeister, sound engineer, director & organiser in all possible, impossible and extreme circumstances in field, theatre, concerts, television, cd production, etc.

The extreme working circumstances he went through helped him very much in dealing with extreme situations in photography where he found very fast his place among professionals.

He works for the international press agency Action Press, German agencies Teamwork Press & Est-Ostphoto. His work is also published in Der Spiegel, Gloss, Gala Style, Travel for Two, Livingstone & numerous other publications such as calendars, postcards, catalogues, posters, advertising, book covers, cd covers, etc.

A friend of mine once told me: "Petar, when you do work something you love, you will never really "work"". Well he was right. I'm the luckiest non working person in the universe! ;)) Photography is the air I breath, the water I drink, the fire I step through, the rock I'm standing on.

My best friends in painting with light are my cameras Leica R6.2, Leica M6 & Sony R1. I just love to present people around the world the little beautiful things in life .. so here I have my camera, the story teller, and me the director ..
